Introducing David

All throughout my career, I’ve been asked to take ideas and make them bigger, better, and something worth talking about. When I decided it was time to try something new after more than a decade in public service, the opportunity to join DBC made perfect sense.

I’m very excited to be making the transition from client side to agency. Now I get to share my passion to innovate at the crossroads of creativity and logic with a lot of different organizations that are also looking to grow.

As DBC’s new managing director, I’m responsible for heading up our growth team and leading strategy for our expanding roster of client engagements. They also asked me to help ensure DBC continues to be an awesome place to work.

Prior to DBC, I was the first-ever senior director of communications at The Fund for Public Schools in the NYC Department of Education, where I focused on fundraising and building external partnerships.

Before that, I wore many hats over nine years at The State University of New York. As director of marketing and creative services, I served on the Chancellor’s Cabinet driving integrated marketing and major public relations efforts for the largest higher education system in America.

As you can tell, New York is kind of my thing. I grew up in Queens, did a stint upstate, and now live in Brooklyn with my senior-citizen puppy. I have a master’s degree in public administration from the University at Albany's Rockefeller College and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Binghamton University - both state colleges. In my free time I’m a big fan of the New York Rangers, and like to hit the road (or preferably skies) whenever possible.

But what I’m most excited about is learning more about you, your organization, and how we can work together to expand your reach. Let’s connect today!
