The e-commerce industry is rapidly growing. As the competition keeps growing too, not all brands have been able to survive the pace of this industry. Businesses need to make sure that their brands aren’t holding them back. For the most part, the solution is to come up with strategies that improve their brand image and increase traffic, yet some brands need more invasive solutions like renaming and rebranding.

Previously known as MezzoPrint, the brand did not resonate with its target audience. DBC was approached to help with brand development. The goal was to bring the brand more into its own unique identity and make the print business stand out from other printers.

As part of the rebranding efforts by DBC, the team held name storming sessions to generate different ideas to offer options that could eventually be the new brand name.

The sessions to visualize the brand’s core values were in four stages. Ultimately, SwagShip was chosen as it defined who they are.

With the name selected, the brand development plan tackled additional aspects. The logo and visuals were infused with effective and compelling designs. These designs were an extension of the brand’s core values, as a result of the brainstorming efforts.

Now that the company has been rebranded to SwagShip, they have been having more reliable business than ever before. SwagShip is now a signature branded merchandise company ready for newer areas and ventures in the future.
