The Brief

When we first met WealthMore, they came to us with a big idea: to disrupt traditional banking by creating a hybrid digital investment platform, catering to the underserved and bridging gaps in financial services. As a team of brand strategists and design experts, we were up for the challenge to partner with WealthMore to create a unique brand message and develop the brand further with their pre-existing name, colors, and logo.

WealthMore was inspired to create this platform after realizing how many people were left out of the traditional banking space. The founders wanted to build a future of investing and wealth creation for everyone, but they needed the proper brand presence to make it happen. And that’s where DBC came in.

The Solution

By positioning WealthMore as a partner in their clients' journey, we were able to create a sense of trust and establish a strong emotional connection. We focused on creating messaging that was human-centric and avoided too much banking jargon.

Our team worked with WealthMore to discuss the deeper motivations of their work in order to find the heart of their mission, vision, and values. We then helped package it all into one strong and cohesive brand story with succinct, impactful brand messaging, focused on connecting with WealthMore’s target audience.

One of the main challenges was to create copy that would be compelling enough to drive conversions and strike an emotional connection with potential users. 

We focused on leveraging advisors and community to make it clear that WealthMore is a platform where investors can take part in a dynamic and diverse community. To enhance the brand personality, we created custom illustrations and visual assets that added a playful touch to the website's design.

DBC collaborated with WealthMore as part of the Bank of America Breakthrough Lab™, an impact accelerator program that provides economic opportunity and capital access to Black, Hispanic-Latino, Native American and other underrepresented entrepreneurs. The part-time program provides its participants with digital expertise, industry connections, access to investors, and ongoing assistance with developing their brand identity.
