What Is A Logo?

When we think of branding, we usually only think of a logo. There are a lot of aspects to a brand that are just as important, but the logo is usually what comes to mind straight away. We've seen logos everywhere, but can we define what they are? We all know a logo is the identity or brandmark of our business. It's the face of the company, but what else does it represent?

  • First and foremost, as well as embodying the identity of your business, a logo is your visual brand ambassador. It promotes your values, mission, goals, and culture through its design and representation. Since a logo holds a lot of importance, create it wisely!

  • A logo is also the source of psychological association. When people look at your logo, they immediately experience an emotion or a thought. They may have a memory of using your services, or the colors of your logo may bring about a certain emotion. You want to evoke a positive association in the minds of your consumers, therefore make sure your logo accentuates all the highs of who your brand is.

  • Lastly, your logo is a source of inspiration to other companies and individuals. A budding entrepreneur could be researching what logos do well in the industry, and you want your logo to be at the top of that list. It's a way of inspiring and empowering other people and businesses to strive to achieve their own goals.

Your logo is an integral part of your business. Brand it proudly.

What does a rebrand really mean?

Every organization has unique needs when it comes to the specific deliverables of a rebrand. Most often a rebrand will include an updated logo, symbols, colors, brand voice, and sometimes even a new business name.
Agile methodology is everywhere now.
It moved from dev/tech to marketing, and now almost any other project team. The benefits are plentiful — faster ROI, lower risk, and ability to test and fail are among the highest advantages.
